Founded by the late Owen Godwin in 1949, and still privately owned by his family today, Gatorland is a 110-acre theme park and wildlife preserve, combining "Old Florida" charm with exciting, new exhibits and entertainment. Known internationally as the "Alligator Capital of the World," Gatorland today provides affordably priced family-fun with thousands of alligators and crocodiles, a breeding marsh with boardwalk and observation tower, one-of-a-kind reptilian shows, aviary, petting zoo, swamp walk, educational programs and much, much more.

Discovery Cove
From the North (Downtown Orlando, Universal, Sanford): Take I-4 West to exit 72 (Beeline Expressway). Once on the Beeline, take the first exit (International Drive). At lights, turn left. (You will be on International Drive.) At the second light, turn right onto Central Florida Parkway. The entrance is on the left.

Nothing can quite prepare you for the sheer sense of adventure and excitement that you'll experience at Discovery Cove Orlando.

Swimming with dolphins provides the centrepiece of this daylong adventure. You'll be able to play with bottlenose dolphins in this tropical oasis, snorkel through colourful reefs simply teeming with thousands of tropical fish, explore underwater shipwrecks, swim lazily down a tropical river, past waterfalls and a freshwater lagoon. You'll also be able to swim amongst stingrays - with a 'wingspan' of up to 4 feet, swim next to barracuda and sharks, play with more than 200 tropical birds - in the free flight aviary.

Animal Kingdom
1-4 to exit 25B at US Highway 192;right on World Drive and follow the signs.

Walk through the entrance and the lush landscape of The Oasis provides the gateway to the adventures that await guests. It is a natural place of flowering glades and tumbling waterfalls. Guests are free to explore several lush paths that lead to natural animal habitats of miniature deer, brilliant macaws, an anteater, iguanas and tree kangaroos.

Once you’ve passed The Oasis, you will come to a bridge spanning a peaceful river. The bridge leads to Discovery Island, which is at the center of Animal Kingdom. The park is laid out in a classic hub-and-spoke Disney style with the hub being Discovery Island connecting a series of "lands." These "lands" offer guests opportunities to discover not just animals, but many adventures designed to educate and entertain.

More than 1,700 animals representing 250 different species make their home at Animal Kingdom, yet you won’t see many behind bars here. Instead you can explore the spacious habitats of the wild animals by taking a safari.

Guests can also be whisked on a wild ride aboard 12-seat rafts down the Kali River Rapids, dig for fossils in DinoLand U.S.A., watch stage shows like The Lion King, and much more!

Kraken - Be afraid! Be very afraid! This monster ride is the highest, fastest, longest and only floorless roller coaster in the whole of Orlando.

The Waterfront at SeaWorld Orlando is a celebration incited by the sights, sounds, flavour and festivity of the most vibrant cities by the sea. Dine on a gourmet pizza alfresco as the citizens of The Waterfront entertain you or enjoy a drink under the stars at the SandBar.

One minute you are boarding a virtual reality 'jet-copter', the next you are arriving at a remote research station - called 'Base Station Wild Arctic'. Here you enter a frozen wonderland where you will come face-to-face with real animals - such as walruses, beluga whales and two famous polar bears called Klondike and Snow.
